So....
Per 21st Ed. CPNE Study guide, you may or may not aspirate for IM since this is a debatable topic. So if you forget, you won't be penalized.
What you should do is apply gentle pressure with 2x2 gauze or alcohol swab BUT DON'T MASSAGE IT!
